I had an "aha" moment and I thought I would pass it on to you in case it would be helpful to someone else. I saw this picture in my head where I was driving on the expressway and I saw that a lot of NLP students that I know were speeding past me in the fast lane. I was poking along in the slow lane. Of course, the 1st thought that went through  my head was "What's wrong with me? Why am I so slow? This is my 2nd time through the program and here I am still poking along in the slow lane". Then I realized that the road is my life and the changes that I am making are equivalent to digging up the old road and building it up again from the foundation. I'm taking the time to make sure the foundation and the road are well and solidly built and will carry me safely, "easily" and comfortably into the future. There are changes that I can do safely, "easily" and comfortably in the "fast" lane and other kinds of changes that are better done at a slower pace.
