What is NLP?

NLP, Neuro-linguistic Programming, is a state of the art communication and behavioral change technology. Originally developed in the early 70's, NLP is a model for understanding and duplicating excellence in human behavior. Whether your aim is to improve yourself personally or professionally, then NLP can be the answer you have been looking for.

NLP was developed by a Ph.D. in linguistics and a Ph.D. in psychology. It is built around the model that the human brain is a biological computer and, like all computers, it needs a software package that enables it to operate. The software that runs our brain is our linguistic packages, the words that we use in communicating to others and the thoughts we have in communicating with ourselves. NLP in its simplest terms states that the way we communicate, how we put together our communications, will do more to affect our outcomes than any other single factor. If we change how we think, we will change our reality. If we know how another person thinks, and we can change what we do to match the needs of that person, then we will have more ability to achieve our outcomes in dealing with that person. NLP can be likened to a user's operation manual for the brain.
